- Account information — your name, email address, and profile photo when you sign in with Google.
- Financial account data — positions, balances, and transaction history from brokerage or investment accounts you choose to connect via SnapTrade.
- Usage data — how you interact with the Service, device and browser information, and log data collected automatically.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to operate and improve the Service, generate your portfolio analytics and counterfactual comparisons, authenticate your account, respond to support requests, and monitor for fraud, abuse, or security issues.
4. Third-Party Financial Connections & Zero-Data Architecture
LazyAlpha.AI connects to brokerage and investment accounts through SnapTrade, a third-party financial data provider. This connection is strictly read-only — LazyAlpha.AI cannot execute trades, place orders, move money, or alter your linked accounts in any way.
- Zero-Data Architecture: We only store the counterfactual experiments and hypothetical scenarios you create. We do not store or persist your live investment holdings, account balances, or transaction histories in our database.
- Your brokerage login credentials are entered directly with SnapTrade or your financial institution and are never seen or stored by LazyAlpha.AI.
- Financial data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
- You can disconnect a linked account at any time from within LazyAlpha.AI or directly through SnapTrade, which immediately revokes our access.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal or financial information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service (such as Google Firebase for authentication and hosting, and SnapTrade for account connectivity), or when required to comply with applicable law.
6. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
7. Your Rights & Choices
You may access, correct, or delete your account information, and disconnect any linked financial account, at any time. To exercise these rights or ask a question about your data, contact us at support@lazyalpha.ai.
8. Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use essential cookies and similar technologies (such as those set by Firebase Authentication) to keep you signed in and to keep the Service secure. We do not currently use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
